10,000 Steps a Day in January
We are challenging you to take 10,000 steps every day in January. Where and how you chose to walk each day is up to you!
Complete the ultimate adrenaline challenge with Team Dementia UK by joining us for a Summer Skydive on Saturday 14th June or Saturday 31st August 2025! Make the big leap and experience the thrill of flying through the clouds from 10,000 feet on a spring day while raising vital funds for families affected by dementia. Let’s reach for the sky!
Your skydive will help grow the number of dementia specialist Admiral Nurses, who offer life-changing support for families facing the fear and confusion of dementia.
Skyline specialise in organising fundraising events for charities. If you have any questions about doing a skydive, please phone 020 7424 5522 and they will be happy to help.
To take part in one of our Summer Skydive Days, you will need to raise a target of £395-£450 (depending on the airfield where you complete your skydive) in aid of Dementia UK by asking your family, friends and colleagues to sponsor you. We’ll support you throughout your fundraising journey, helping you meet – and even exceed – your goal. Every penny you raise over the minimum will help us offer a lifeline to even more families living with dementia.
You can take part on either of our Summer Skydive Days on either Saturday 14th June or Saturday 31st August 2025, and you can take part at any of the airfields that Skyline provides (subject to availability).
For a tandem skydive you must be at least 16 years old and under 15 stone in weight. Please note some centres have lower weight limits – please contact Skyline for details.
You may not be able to participate if you have diabetes, epilepsy, fits, recurrent blackouts, heart or lung disease, mental illness or some forms of asthma – please contact Skyline for advice
Skyline has third-party insurance of up to £2m but this will not cover you for personal injury.
Unfortunately, Dementia UK will not be able to authorise your jump and you will not be able to participate, but we will support you with your fundraising throughout.
Skyline are the experts when it comes to organising your skydive. You can check out their FAQs or get in touch with their team on 020 7424 5522. If you have any questions about your fundraising or would like to let us know why you are skydiving for Dementia UK, contact our Events Team on 020 8036 5440 or email events@dementiauk.org
