There are full marathon, half marathon and 10km options, starting and finishing at the Oval Cricket Ground, London on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th January 2025. The route takes in highlights of the River Thames with its historic bridges, and many of the capital’s key landmarks.

Families are welcome, and you’ll receive a free neck buff, rest stops with snacks, and a special medal and hot food at the finish.

Whether you want to enjoy an active day out with family, friends or colleagues or stick to your New Year fitness resolution, there’s a London Winter Walk for you!

Join as an individual or as a team and raise funds for families affected by dementia along the way.

As Dementia UK is an official partner of this event, you will receive a 50% discount on the ‘full sponsorship’ registration fee when signing up to support families affected by dementia.

My father passed away in January 2021 having suffered with dementia for a few years. We collected money for Dementia UK in lieu of flowers at the funeral, I thought it would be a good opportunity therefore to add to the money we had already collected by walking for Dementia UK
