Our letter to the new Prime Minister

There are a number of pressing issues for the new Prime Minister to address as a matter of urgency, such as the cost of living crisis, and a health and care system that is facing critical pressures including workforce shortages and huge waiting times for care.

These challenges are disproportionately affecting people living with dementia and their families – and without access to the right dementia care and support to meet their needs, too many families are falling between the gaps and into crisis.

We want to see dementia care prioritised at both national and local levels. We have written to the new Prime Minister to ask her to urgently lead the change for a better system and outcomes for everyone affected by dementia.
