Make your Will in person
We work in partnership with the National Free Wills Network to offer face-to-face appointments with a solicitor. Complete this simple form to be sent a pack.
While it may seem daunting, writing a Will is one of the most important steps you can take to ensure your wishes are met after you die – and it is never too soon to do it.
That’s why we have created a handy Will Planner which simplifies the process. By following our step-by-step guide, you can gather all the information you need so you’re ready for your appointment with your solicitor.
The Planner will help you identify key information that you will need when writing your Will, like the value of your estate and who you want to provide for. It also includes all the information you need if you would like to leave a gift in your Will to Dementia UK.
You can either fill in the Planner digitally, or print it to complete by hand. Please note that this is not a legal document, but rather a place for you to collect your thoughts and make notes.
So, sit down, have a cup of tea, and take your time to think things through.
Dementia UK partners with three different Will-writing providers to offer you the chance to make or update a Will for free, either in-person, over the phone or online. There is no obligation to include a gift to Dementia UK, although we hope you will consider it, so that families facing dementia will continue to receive the specialist support they desperately need, far into the future.
