By 2025, there will be one million people living with dementia in the UK, and currently there is no cure. For these people and their families, our dementia specialist Admiral Nurses are a lifeline.

admiral nurses progress bar with bracketsWe have 455 Admiral Nurses across the UK – but right now, we can’t reach everyone who needs us.

We need your support to help us reach our target of 500 nurses by the end of 2025. And we won’t stop there. Once we’ve reached our goal, we will invite you to collaborate with us on developing our priorities for 2025-30. You will help us shape our plans to increase the number of Admiral Nurses across the UK so we can support more families through the fear and confusion of dementia.

Join the 500 Club today

Join the 500 Club and invest in the next generation of Admiral Nurses. As a member, you’ll be part of an exclusive and powerful network of like-minded individuals united by one common goal: a world where no one faces dementia alone.

Employing and developing a new Admiral Nurse costs £70,000 – and as a charity that receives no Government funding, we urgently need your support to reach our target of 500 nurses by the end of 2025.

I can’t see how any family navigates dementia without an Admiral Nurse.

Elliott, whose father had dementia

Yes! We will invite you to events where you will have the opportunity to connect with other club members who, like you, share our vision for a world where no one faces dementia alone. We also welcome you to introduce your networks to the 500 Club so we can expand our specialist dementia services even further.

Dementia UK is the UK’s only specialist dementia nursing charity, committed to directly supporting families through our Admiral Nurses. We are also the only charity to have a Helpline staffed by registered dementia nurses, ensuring every caller receives tailored, specialist support from a healthcare professional.

We campaign for improvements to dementia care and support across the UK, and work alongside world-leading researchers to conduct research into dementia care, with the aim of ensuring families affected by the condition get the support they need.
