Carers Week runs from Monday 10th-Sunday 16th June 2024 and is an opportunity to raise awareness of the amazing work of carers, highlight the challenges they face and share sources of support and information to help them in their caring role.
We hear time and time again that because there is no clear pathway to support after a dementia diagnosis, carers and their loved ones are left to cope with the condition alone.
At Dementia UK we believe this needs to change. That’s why this Carers Week, we’re highlighting our expert information and advice for carers, as well as how you can access support from our dementia specialist Admiral Nurses.
We’re also sharing powerful stories from carers who are working with us to demand better dementia care in the UK and showing how you can get involved in making this a reality.
