London Winter Walk
A great event to walk off the Christmas celebrations, and to kick start your New Year fitness regime! Join our London Winter Walk.
The Kent Downs 50 Challenge is a new end of season Ultra Challenge in the ‘Garden of England’, with a basecamp near Maidstone. Choose to walk, jog or run the full 50km or one of the 25km or 10km routes to support families affected by dementia.
The main 50km looped route heads anticlockwise around the Kent Downs, starting on the North Downs Way to Blue Bell Hill and around picturesque Aylesford. You’ll follow the River Medway to Mote Park for a picnic at the halfway point before heading along the Len Valley Walk to the majestic Leeds Castle. The North Downs Way then circles back to the showground finish line and celebration.
Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll receive a glass of fizz, finisher’s t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement, before heading to a BBQ and a well earned rest.
As Dementia UK is an official partner of this event, you will receive a 50% discount on the ‘full sponsorship for charity’ registration fee when signing up to join #TeamDementiaUK.
Head to the Dementia UK Ultra Challenge page to find out full details of prices and to sign up.
